Medi-Cal does not currently cover TMS for addiction. However, depression-related TMS is sometimes covered. Many patients qualify based on depression diagnosis.
Carelon provides TMS coverage for depression, but not for addiction alone. Patients with dual diagnoses may still be eligible.
Evernorth covers TMS only for depression. While addiction is not covered, individuals with depressive symptoms may qualify.
Quantum only covers TMS for depression. Patients with addiction may be eligible for TMS if they also meet criteria for depression.
